His Kiss

My prince who holds me with arms so strong
Brings something that cannot be measured
But stirs a memory from childhood dreams
A wish on stars so fondly remembered.

His kiss can light a fire within
Giving delight beyond explanation
But it’s beyond the bounds of flesh
This genuine  love burns my soul with passion

Who can this be that makes me swoon
and sweeps me off my feet,
With just a smile and a knowing laugh.
A heart filled with gold,
Twinkling eyes and dimpled cheeks.

The answer lies in a pleading prayer,
a beckoning call from a lonely soul.
The angels watched from up above
And sent my cherished wish,
The Kiss from heaven, my one true love.
